ABOUT: Grahame Sydney is one of New Zealand’s senior artists, best known for his landscapes of Central Otago. His work spans over 4 decades and encompasses oils, egg tempera, watercolours, lithographs, etching, photography and, more recently, film.

Rarely exhibiting, Sydney’s works are held in the collections of the major galleries and museums of New Zealand, and in private collections through-out the world.

Grahame is also the author several books, and his work is the subject of the award-winning The Art of Grahame Sydney.  He was awarded an ONZM for his services to painting in 2003.
